What and why<br><br>
Littelfuse Inc. has implemented an internet based
tracking system for controlling supplier quality data. This data includes Certificates of Conformance, Lot Traceability Certificates, Material Test Reports and Product Studies.<br><br>
All suppliers who are required to provide such data must submit the data into the tracking system before Littelfuse receives the material. Data submissions must be accompanied with the "Certificate of Conformance and Quality Data" fax cover sheet. This Certificate of Conformance serves as the suppliers' acknowledgement of understanding and compliance.<br><br>
How and when<br><br>
The Certificate of Conformance and Quality Data over sheet and supporting documents must be submitted-via fax or email-before the supplier ships product to Littelfuse. A copy of the completed form must also accompany the shipment. If the Certificate of Conformance is not received prior to shipment, and the Supplier Quality Engineer was not contacted to discuss why the requirement was not going to be met, corrective action is initiated.<br><br>
